This was super adorable!!! Everything matches, the animation to the art to the music to the gameplay! Very lighthearted <3

so cute, I loved it =)

Thank you very much! ^^

I liked the story. It was surprisingly well written. Was not expecting it from a game jam game. I liked the joke about the last "missing puzzle piece". Played it through a couple of times for the narrative alone.

The art style was consistent with the story, the game mechanics and audio, starting from the intro illustrations to the minute details in the story to the dialogue presentation. It was a chill experience. I liked how the player could move left and right on the boat. Small detail but it made it more immersive.

I discovered pretty fast the "indicator" that showed where you should "fish" so I did'nt have to experiment too much with fishing locations and i could flow smoothly through the story.

Overall A+ for the whole game! Cool interpretation of the theme!

Thanks for creating this game!

Hi Antomaat! Thank you so much for playing our game and for your nice input!

We are so lucky to have a team with the best narrator/writer Felmuffin, and our sound designer & game designer Dr_Munkfish! They helped make this game really come to light.

And thank you so much for the A+ rating, we really appreciate it!

I liked the crayon esque artwork, really fits the little story you've got going on. The upbeat music also really added to the experience.

I feel like the fail rate might have been a little high. There were multiple instances for me of failing 3+ times in a row. Could maybe have done it like some other fishing minigames where you just wait until something catches. Could have the random "failed to catch" dialogue at random intervals.

Some minor nitpicks too -- the fishing line didn't animate with the bob of the ship, so it was disconnected from the fishing rod part of the time. The first menu button had the mouseover effect permanently applied which was a little offputting.

This is pure opinion, but I didn't care too much for the crayon effect on the text boxes specifically. Not the font choice or anything, or even the layout, just the use of the brush as opposed to a clean outline on the text boxes.

Hi Thoof! Thank you so much for playing our game! We really appreciate you taking the time to comment on it as well! Your opinions are really great and if we come back to edit this game, we can definitely improve on it with your advice! Thank you so much for finding the little errors and issues too!

And omg! You're a genius! I should have totally done just a brush stroke for the dialogue boxes! That would have been perfect!

Again, thank you very much for playing and your very much appreciated input!
